Principal Dentist

Dr Christine Ling

Christine grew up in England and graduated from Leeds University, UK in 1999.

She is also a former President of the Leeds Dental Society. Christine has extensive experience in all areas of general dentistry and held posts in Maxillo-facial Surgery, Orthodontics, Childrens Dentistry and Primary Care. Her ability and dedication in dentistry earned her two prestigious awards from Leeds University in Childrens Dentistry and another in Oral Surgery.

Christine moved to Australia in 2002 and became a key team member of an award winning dental practice in Sydney prior to taking over Lydiard Street Dental Clinic in 2010. She is a member of the Australian Dental Association and the prestigious Melbourne Seattle Study Club.

Christine enjoys all facets of general practice particularly cosmetics and more complex dental treatments, and loves treating children. She takes a holistic view of dental health and its impact on other aspects of a persons overall health. Christine is committed to helping her patients in making a well informed choice in selecting their dental treatments.

What do I do during a dental emergency?

If you have a dental emergency, we suggest you call us immediately. We have time set aside each day for those in urgent need. On weekends and public holidays there is a dentist on call for Ballarat that we are part of and our phone message will direct you to the service.

Simply can not recommend highly enough. Very high quality work, exceptionally friendly staff. Very reasonable cost. I've had three appointments here in the last month. I am a little cynical about other practices and their tendency to upsell cleaning. There's simply none of that approach here -- it feels like the friendly family dentist I used to know when I was younger. And if you are looking for somewhere to bring your children, Christine, Katrina and April will make them feel as relaxed as it is possible to be, for what may be for some, or even most, an anxiety provoking visit. Bravo.
